Why don't you work directly with children?

EFD is committed to strengthening the local Vietnamese social organizations who provide direct service to children. It takes strong local capacity to meet the needs of children and EFD plays an important role in helping these organizations develop skills and innovative programs.

What is the current status of education in Vietnam?

The situation is improving. Many children in Vietnam have access to quality mainstream education, but there are many who fall through the cracks. Because of their families economic or domestic situation, or because they are living with physical or emotional challenges, many children are left behind.
